Shannon and Jennifer have been friends for over eleven years, bonded by their shared experiences with unplanned pregnancies at a young age. Throughout their years in the substance use field, they repeatedly witnessed a significant gap in support for pregnant women facing challenges, particularly in accessing safe housing.

Driven by their faith and a deep compassion for these women and their unborn children, Shannon and Jennifer felt called to create a solution. This passion led to the founding of Brave Heart Maternity Home.

Brave Heart Maternity Home offers a safe, Christian environment where expectant mothers can find love, support, and the skills necessary to become self-sufficient, confident parents.

With their backgrounds in supporting women in crisis—whether due to poverty, substance use, or domestic violence—Shannon and Jennifer have a profound understanding of the challenges these mothers face. Their shared experiences have deepened their commitment to uplifting pregnant women in need.
