Jennifer is the Co-Founder of Brave Heart Maternity Home. She holds a deep love for pregnant women who have been lost and struggling with unplanned pregnancies, homelessness, shame, and addiction. She has nine years of diverse experience in the behavioral health and substance use field; a women’s residential facility, crisis stabilization, intensive outpatient, and sober transitional living. She holds a Chemical Dependency Counselor Supervisor certification, CDCS; and is a National Certified Addictions Counselor I, NCAC I. Furthermore, she serves on the Parent Advisory Committee with the Office of Children’s Services in a volunteer role. Additionally, she is attending UAA, working toward a bachelor’s degree in human services.
Jennifer is a loving mother to four beautiful children and one beautiful grandchild. As of May 2024, by the grace of God, she has celebrated 10 years of continuous sobriety. The grace that has been shown and given to her by God, allowing her to break the chains of generational trauma has created a burning desire to come alongside vulnerable pregnant women who are experiencing homelessness. God has instilled this desire into her amid her own struggles and has brought her confirmation as she worked in crisis stabilization services.
